Sources of Lead

Soil Testing

* LSHH Program does soil test for Free\

* Call 221-2155 to speak to an inspector to set up an appointment

* Two Types of soil samples

1. Composite (over whole yard)
2. Specific Site (Garden)

Soil Testing

* If LSHH does soil test and results are high, we have to issue administrative orders.
* The orders would require removal of soil or covering (grass, mulch, rocks, ect.)
* Unsafe levels are:
o 400ppm Play Area
o 1200ppm General Yard
